Sorry everyone.

A few people have asked me in the comments if 'chooks' are our chickens, yes they are indeed our chickens, sorry about that.

Time to drop the children at school and kindergarten and then I have a day to me me me. It will involve some stitching, perhaps a walk and some horrid house work. Oh well, house work does need to be done sometimes, doesn't it?

Stay safe everyone.

Unfortunately housework is a fact of life. But don't work too hard!

A little housework, a little fun, a little housework, a little fun, a nap!.....

Hope you enjoyed your me.me.me day.

LOL! I wondered too, so I googled chooks and the mystery was solved quite quickly!

Hope you enjoyed your day to yourself and got time for some stitching or doing something else you enjoy :) Isn't it a nuisance that housework gets in the way. Thank you for leaving a comment on my blog and hope you can come back again.

Goodness, I have a ton of errands and housework, too. I'd much rather browse blogs & stitch : ) LOL Enjoy the day - thx for visiting my blog

Not to worry --- my other foot will not get cold. The second sock is almost finished.

However, even if I didn't finish the socks my feet would not be cold. Summer weather is here already. It's going to be almost 90°F today.

funny how common slang words that we use all the time means nothing to other nations! LOL
I find that happens here too...when I say things like "daggy", and the other day I said "spewing", and people thought I was vomitting! LOL
Your Faety Tales is looking very interesting...I am not going to google it to see waht it will look like, I am just going to wait until I see your picture in progress!
Enjoy!

Sorry to the stress on your chooks. That has happened to my friend who has chooks in Perth. I know they get stressed out easily but do love their dirt baths...lol.

Thank you so much for your really nice comment in my blog! It means so much to have friends who care at this hard time. My DH and I have been thinking of getting a few "chooks" too as our neighbor has some beautiful ones. Can you tell that I am a huge animal lover! I hope to see you again soon!

Hi Joanne,
Thanks for your comment on my blog about my proposed changes. Glad you like to see my opshop (and eBay) linens. I don't find near as much in opshops as I used to a few years ago. I think most of it ends up on eBay now, and some antique shops carry a nice range (expensive though).
I chuckled over your post and the resulting comments about your chooks! We recently obtained four bantam hens, and they are so cute the way they hang out in a little group, 'buk buk buk' around the aviary!
