Stitchy Update.

So here are the update photos that I spoke about in my previous post, mind you, I have stitched more than what shows in these photos LOL. That is what I get for taking so long to post.
First off is Gypsy Rose. There is more stitched in this part, as well as some progress on the far left of the design, just me going off on a tangent.

Next up for show and tell is Faery Tales, this is the completion of this page and is of course The Ugly Duckling, sorry for the crappy photo.

Here is another photo of Faery Tales with an 'almost' complete Cinderella, and we can see the emergence of Prince Charming.

And last of all is Impatient Ballerina, there is quite a bit more done on this one.

That is it for the stitching updates.
As for the house, the builder should be given the go ahead next week, so we should start to see some progress. We have been and selected all of our colors, including a red front door and magenta glass splash backs for the kitchen. What have we done??? The color consultant suggested that we make a feature of our front door as it is a double entry door, so we did!! As for the splash backs, what were we thinking? We had a cinnamon color chosen and DH kept on referring to it as baby poo yellow, and I just would not be able to live with him saying that all the time. We had already chosen the bench tops and cupboard doors and didn't want to have to change them again as well, so we went with magenta. Everything else in the house is neutral. Neither myself or DH are 'out there' sort of people, these selections are so out of character for us, but have a couple of WOW factors really appealed to us.
Well best go and see if I can get some things around the house accomplished.
Stay safe and happy stitching.

Wow, you have made some amazing progress on your HAED's. I am seriously impressed.

Hey, we all need a splash of color. I bet you will love it when it is done.

Lots of progress on your stitching. Every stitch made is one stitch closer to completion.

I can agree with vivid colours around the home. My house has dark eucalypt green tiles throughout the house, dark brown carpet in the living areas, palest green walls, off white ceilings and trims and eggplant (purple) suede finish feature walls in the lounge/dinging/rumpus rooms. If you stand at the front door, you can see the three rooms with each feature wall. I refused to have any pure white in the house at all (much to MIL's disgust!) The SIL has a house full of neutrals and it always feels so cold in her house. I love my vivid colours. I'm sure your colours will be splendid!

Are those all HAEDs???? WOW! You've really done a lot. Progress is looking good :o)

I think a red front door is stunning. We want to do a very deep red one when the time comes. As for the magenta...I'm on the fence with you. Hey, it might look awesome when it's done! You never know until you try ;o)

Wow, all your stitching looks great!

I envy you being able to have bold colours. My hope is to have these kind of colours one day as well. I just need to remove all the icky colours the previous owners used.

So good to see you back here again! I know what you mean about life getting in the way. I haven't been blogging or stitching much at all lately. Your progress on all your pieces is amazing!
We are currently picking out colours for our kitchen renovations. I'm chicken though, nothing too bold for me. I don't think I could live with Baby Poo yellow either though.

Good to see you back Aussie Stitcher! I have fits and starts with my blogging too. As for your bright colours - I applaud you. A number of years ago I redecorated a downstairs loo with black and white wallpaper (kinda nudies) and a red door. I was the only person in the family impressed - but I always liked it - have never been bold enough to try it again though! Blessings!
